Where does all the steam go?
A Vapour Vault roof stops the creation of steam in the first place. The concept is actually quite simple. Visible shower steam is formed by a single interaction: when cold bathroom air mixes with the warm, humid air your shower creates. It is this combination that causes moisture-laden air. When you install a Vapour Vault shower roof, you place a barrier between these two key components. By preventing them from mixing, you stop shower steam before it can even be created.
Do I need to run an extractor fan as well?
No, this is not necessary. An extractor fan will just draw colder air into the room and extract heat from your room. With a Vapour Vault roof you should be able to enjoy a steam free bathroom without venting expensive heat to the outside.

No, you can keep your bathroom windows closed while showering.

How do I clean my Vapour Vault shower roof ?
Proper care of your Vapour Vault shower roof is remarkably simple as they typically only require occasional dusting. You can use a long reach feather duster to flick any dust off but if you feel the roof needs a more thorough clean a microfibre cloth and a standard glass cleaner will bring the best results.
